Moscow literary Museum Center of K. G. Paustovsky is the only museum in the Russian Federation devoted to the worldwide famous writer. For 40 years the museum center has been conserving the heritage of the writer. It holds a unique collection of memorial items, manuscripts, documents of K. G. Paustovsky as well as of his literary environment. The museum is a scientific center for the study of K.G. Paustovsky’s work that runs regular conferences with participation of both Russian and foreign researchers. Since 1992 the museum has been publishing its cultural and educational literary review "The World of Paustovsky". The museum arranges the exhibitions among which are the major regional and interregional shows. The cultural and educational program "Journey into the World of Paustovsky" is also fulfilled in the museum. 

The new exposition "Paustovsky’s House" unravels the mystery of Konstantin Paustovsky’s creation (1892-1968). A unique figurative and narrative exposition outfitted with up to date digital and interactive equipment is placed on the first floor of an old house, heritage asset of the XVIII century. The rooms of the museum are transformed into exceptional artistic exposition displays. In a certain sequence the five poetic "Ecos": the City, the Sea, the Forest, the World and the House arise united by a key image - the image of Road. Personal belongings of the writer, documents and photographs from his family archive, as well as works of worldwide famous artists granted from private collections are presented for the first time in the new exhibition.
