Информация о памятнике

Памятник был открыт в 250-летний юбилей со дня рождения полководца. Представляет собой бронзовую фигуру Суворова в полный рост. Полководец одет в мундир и плащ, в правой руке держит подзорную трубу. Суворов изображен с орденом Святой Анны. Длинный походный плащ придает фигуре устойчивость и монументальность.

В 2021 году завершился комплексный ремонт памятника. Специалисты перебрали гранитную облицовку постамента скульптуры и пушек, докомпоновали сколы и загерметизировали швы, провели консервацию бронзы и уплотнили патину. Также они заменили разрушенные плиты мощения

All-Russian Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art

The only museum in Russia that united in its exposition works of decorative and applied art of Russia of the XVIII – XX centuries. It is located in the monument of architecture - the old manor "Osterman House." The museum has more than 120 thousand exhibits. The museum is located in a complex of buildings - a monument of architecture of the end of the XVIII – XX centuries. On behalf of the former owners, this old manor is called the Osterman House. The collection of the museum was formed by 1999 as a result of combining the collections of the All-Russian Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art, the Museum of Folk Art, where the collections of the Crafts Museum (founded in 1885) and the materials of the Research Institute of the Arts Industry were kept. The territory of the museum is 2.0719 hectares. It allows the use of a park area for the implementation of museum projects, holding public events - the creation of public space.

The Museum of Theater Puppet at GATSTK named after S. Obraztsov

The Obraztsov Theater Puppet Museum occupies a special place on the museum map of Russia and the world. At first there were exhibitions on the balcony in the first building of the theater on Mayakovsky Square. Now the museum is the largest in Russia and one of the largest in the world - more than 4 thousand units of storage. The museum is open for individual visits before performances and intermissions. Entrance to the museum is free with a ticket for the performance. Survey and theatrical tours are conducted by appointment.

В 2002 г. исторические банные постройки были реконструированы с сохранением уличных фасадов и с приспособлением под размещение офисных помещений.
В настоящее время здание Самотечных торговых бань поставлено на государственную охрану как выявленный объект культурного наследия.

Museum apartment F.M. Dostoevsky

The museum is located on the northern outhouse of the former Mariinsky hospital for poor people, which was built on 1806 by I. Zhilardi and A. Mikhailov on project D. Kverengi in style of the last Russian classicism. The family of Doctor M.A. Dostoevsky, the father of the future writer, occupied a small apartment here. From1823 to 1837 Fedor Dostoevsky lived in the apartment on Novaya Bozhedomka, which bears his name from 1954. It is interesting that the building was never rebuilt; the walls, ovens and overlapping remained such what they were during the life of writer. The apartment’s historic interior was recreated in 1980 on the basis of the memoirs of the younger brother of F.M. Dostoevsky. F.M. Dostoevsky left a detailed description of the apartment of his childhood, including drawings and schemes. An oval table, a bookcase, portraits of parents and ancestors, and bronze candelabra from the collection of A. M. Dostoevsky are among the memorial items of the exhibition. In the exposition “World of Dostoevsky” you can see the sofa, which was acquired by Fedor Mikhailovich in1866 during his stay in Moscow, a desk from the writer’s last apartment, an ink device; glasses, the Gospel presented by the wives of Decembrists in1850, writer’s business cards, a box with sleeves for cigarettes, a copy of a bookcase which was made by order of A.G. Dostoevsky for the “Museum of the memory of F. M. Dostoevsky” in 1913. The museum-apartment of F.M. Dostoevsky is a department of the State Museum of the History of Russian Literature named after V.I. Dahl.
