Баснописец изображен сидящим на скамейке в парке. Крылов показан таким, как описывают его современники: чуть небрежно одетым, флегматичным и добродушным человеком. Композиция памятника включает в себя также бронзовые скульптуры с персонажами его 12 басен — это Медведь с музыкантами оркестра, Моська и Слон, Мартышка с очками, Ворона и Лисица и др.

Очень понравилось это место навеянное тайной и мистикой. Особенно когда входишь со стороны шумного и в постоянном движении Садового кольца и окунаешся в тишину и покой пруда и прилегающего сквера, где свободно и расковано расположился знаменитый баснеписец. Спасибо что сохранили этот уголок старой Москвы.

Когда находишься в районе Патриарших, то обязательно хочется окунуться в сказочный и таинственный мир разных эпох. Памятник великому баснописцу и его герои, изображенные в виде скульптур погружают нас в мир детства. Сказочно, тепло и спокойно, как в детстве.

V.N. Pluchek Museum - ApartmentThe Museum of National Artist of the USSR Valentin Pluchek was opened in October 2009 to the centenary of an outstanding director. In the house at the intersection of two metropolitan streets - Bolshaya and Malaya Bronnykh, near the square of Nikitsky Gate, on the 13th floor, in the apartment 47, Valentin Nikolaevich lived for 30 years. His neighbors were Svyatoslav Richter, Yuri Nikulin, Rufina Nifontova, Boris Andreev, Rostislav Plyatt, Boris Ravensky, and Andrei Goncharov. In the Pluchek’s apartment, everything is like during the life of an eminent owner: antique furniture, porcelain, crystal chandeliers, massive bronze lamps, priceless paintings and drawings received as a gift from the authors: Tyshler and Falk, Chagall and Leger paintings, Picasso compositions on biblical themes. The memorial part of the exposition is complemented by: V. Levental’s sketch for the play “Cherry Orchard”, the costume of Andrei Mironov from the play “Crazy Day, or the Marriage of Figaro”, the uniform of the Mayor, in which Anatoly Papanov played “the Inspector General”, the models for the performances “Banya” and “the Inspector General”, sketches for the "Mysteries-Buff". Photo albums and video materials, collected in the Museum-apartment, provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the performances of Valentin Nikolaevich Pluchek, included in the history of Russian theatrical art.

M. N. Yermolova House - MuseumIn the heart of Tverskoy Boulevard, there is a neat mansion, one of the witnesses of old Moscow. It harmoniously fits into the dynamic life of a big city and at the same time keeps an indescribable flavor of history. At the entrance to the House Museum, it seems as if time has stopped for a moment: you walk through en suite rooms, the guide tells a fascinating story about the Great Russian actress Maria Nikolaevna Yermolova and her true “life in art”. The museum surprisingly combines the features of classicism of the end of the XVIII century and the modern style of the turn of the XIX – XX centuries. Traditions have always been carefully kept. After purchasing the house, MN Yermolova and her spouse, well-known lawyer N.P. Shubinsky, did not change the furnishing or the color of the walls. And to this day - in the spirit of the fashion of the XVIII century - multi-colored rooms are preserved: the yellow and green living rooms, and the brilliant white hall, where the artist V. A. Serov wrote the famous Ermolovsky portrait. M.N. Yermolova House-Museum is theatrical place. Here are kept the old posters of performances, theatrical props, costumes and original costumes. In one of them Yermolova played her legendary Joan of Arc, and in the other she read N.A. Nekrasov’s fiery poems in front of an enthusiastic student audience.
