Информация о памятнике

Павел Михайлович Третьяков (1832—1898) — коллекционер и меценат. Основатель известной галереи, носящей его имя, которая со временем стала одним из известнейших музеев мира. Для галереи он выкупил участок и построил особое здание, а с 1881 г. открыл его для всех желающих.
Фигура П. М. Третьякова проступает из куска гранита. Меценат изображен в строгой сосредоточенной позе со скрещенными на груди руками. Одет в длинное застегнутое пальто, без головного убора.

В детстве знакомилась только по книгам, когда приехала в Москву материализовалась информация, когда ко мне приезжают гости, Третьяковка обязательный маршрут для наших прогулок. Спасибо большое, очень нравится это место, гости остаются под большим впечатлением, а я очень рада, что удается порадовать моих гостей. Это трудно сделать, а вот прогулки в Третьяковке творят чудеса - преображаются наши лица, выходим с ощущением что жизнь немного стала лучше.

в январе с женой заглянули к памятнику Третьякову по дороге в метро, пофоткались — очень впечатлило! Строгий, достойный образ основателя галереи. Красиво и атмосферно, несмотря на мороз. Рекомендую.

A. N.Ostrovsky House - MuseumThe museum was opened in 1984 in the house where playwright A. N. Ostrovsky was born. Wooden house is monument of culture of the beginning of 20s of the 19 century. The house is located in Zamoskvorechye, one of those rare places in today's Moscow where the charm and comfort of an old life is preserved. Around the city estate of Ostrovsky there is a splendid garden, which blooms from early spring to late autumn, and the rooms of the wooden house, where a slightly muffled, soft light is poured, keep the atmosphere and mood of a calm, measured life. Museum’s collection consists of personal playwright’s things, objects of material culture of Russia of the XIX century, as well as exhibits reflecting the history of Moscow, in particular Zamoskvorechye. The exposition tells about the stage embodiment of the plays of A.N. Ostrovsky on the stage of the Russian theater, it presents sketches of scenery and costumes, portraits of actors, posters, manuscripts. It will be interesting to visit the museum-estate of Ostrovsky for both adults and children. It often hosts children's parties and excursions, and there is always a Christmas tree for Christmas.

Tropinin and Moscow Artists of His Time MuseumAmong many museums in Moscow, the Tropinin and Moscow Artists of His Time Museum is rightfully considered the most moscow museum. The museum building is in the past the main house of city merchant estate of 19th century, which was built after the fire of 1812 and one of the few surviving in Zamoskvorechye. The museum keeps works of art that is monuments of art culture of Moscow of the 18-19th centuries.

The museum was founded in 1969 by famous moscow collector F. E. Vishnevsky, who donated the estate and 250 works of painting, drawing and decorative arts. Over the year of its existence, the museum increased its collection more than 10 times and today it has one of the most significant collections of works by V. A. Tropinin – the founder of Moscow school of art. Also in the museum there are works of prominent artists of the past: I. Vishnyakov, A.P. Antropov, I.P. Argunov, F.S. Rokotov, D.G. Levitsky, O.A. Kiprensky, V.L. Borovikovsky, S.F. Shchedrin, I.K. Aivazovsky, A.N. Benoit, L.S. Baksta, I.I. Levitan, K.A. Korovin, A.M. Vasnetsov, V.D. Polenova, and etc.

A rich collection of graphics, especially portrait watercolor, is represented by such famous watercolorists as PF. Sokolov, V.I. Hau, A.P. Bryullov, K.I. Barda, and also the works of “rare” artists such as E. Krendovsky, L. Fisher, K. Hampeln, A. Strelkovsky.

Seclusion, which preserves the atmosphere of an old moscow house, is a distinctive feature of the museum. Theme of expositions and museum’s exhibitions, representing the art of Tropininsky time, is very attractive to visitors.

At the heart of the building a two-storey building in the style of early classicism of the XVIII centuryis located . Then the possession belonged to Fyodor Borisovich Lepeshkin. The house is located with the side towards Pyatnitskaya street and with facade fronting the backyard. Soon after the fire of 1812, already for the new owner - the mining company of Demidov - under the project of the remarkable architect Osip Ivanovich Bove the present building was constructed.

Trinity Church in VishniakiTrinity Church in Vishniaki located in the Musketeers District was first mentioned as a wooden in 1642. And in 1678 it was rebuilt in stone by archers of "Matveevskoe order of Vishnjakov" in memory of comrades killed during the siege of Chigirin. Therefore, the alley, at the corner of which stands the temple, which until 1922 bore the name of Luzhnikovsky (or Luzhnetsky), was renamed to eliminate the same name of Moscow streets and lanes in Vishnyakovsky.

Engineering buildingThe complex of museum in Lavrushinsky lane includes the Engineering Corps. The name of the building that was built during last reconstruction is associated with the placement in it of engineering and technical services that provide the activities of the museum (climate, security).

Here is a conference hall for scientific symposia and press conferences.
The second and third floors of the engineering building are intended for regular exhibits of classic and modern art, domestic and foreign masters.

In particular, the project “Golden Map of Russia” is being carried out in the halls of the Engineering Corps, the purpose of which is to present in Moscow a collection of regional museums of the country.

A special entrance from Maly Tolmachevsky Lane leads to the lecture hall, hall designed for lectures with slides and video films. From here you can get to the children's studio of the Tretyakov Gallery and the Temple Museum of Saint Nicholas in Tolmachy.
