VGIKOVTSAM Andrei Tarkovsky, Gennady Shpalikov, Vasily Shukshin

Памятник был установлен 1 сентября 2009 года к началу нового учебного года в самом известном киноинституте страны и посвящен двум событиям: 90-летию института и 80-летию со дня рождения режиссера Василия Шукшина. Автор памятника - скульптор Алексей Благовестнов. Этот памятник сменил установленный ранее на этом же месте памятник кинокамере.

Три бронзовые фигуры расположились на ступеньках у входа в главный корпус ВГИКА: Шукшин сидит, а Тарковский и Шпаликов стоят рядом. Надпись на стене института:

Андрею Тарковскому, Геннадию Шпаликову, Василию Шукшину.

The monument was installed on September 1, 2009 by the beginning of the new academic year in the most famous film institute of the country and is dedicated to two events: the 90th anniversary of the Institute and the 80th anniversary of the birth of director Vasily Shukshin. The author of the monument is sculptor Alexei Blagovestnov. This monument was replaced by a monument to the movie camera installed earlier in the same place. Three bronze figures are located on the steps at the entrance to the main building of the VGIK: Shukshin is sitting, and Tarkovsky and Shpalikov are standing side by side.
