Gallery “Belyaevo”

The State exhibition hall “Gallery “Belyaevo” was opened in 1988 and, nowadays, took grate fame in Moscow as the exhibition venue of the famous Russian and foreign artists. On the basis of the gallery there are the Applied Crafts Training Center, the ART-Clearance aesthetic development center, the Art Salon, and the Framing Workshop. Gallery "Belyaevo" is located in the South-Western administrative district of the city of Moscow, where more than one million people live. The color of Russian science is concentrated in the district; there are the largest research institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, well-known universities, leading production enterprises. The exhibition hall is located in the immediate vicinity of the metro station; the front part goes to one of the main highways of the capital.

«Центр идентичности» – это не просто музей района, а динамичная, трансформируемая среда, где история места и его жителей оживает в рассказах, воспоминаниях, личных вещах и архивных материалах. Проект ставит перед собой задачу документировать, анализировать и создавать районный архив, предлагая посетителям интерактивный опыт исследования самоидентификации через призму конкретного места – микрорайона Беляево.
