Gallery "ZDES na Taganke"

The exhibition hall was created in 1988 on the territory of the Central Administrative District of Moscow. During the existence of the hall, 700 Russian and foreign, personal and collective exhibitions were held with the participation of more than 15 thousand artists. The gallery “Here at Taganka” is the center of youth art, where, under the guidance of professional artists, young authors realize their creative potential. The priority activity of the gallery is connected with the development of the program of the art workshop of Andrei Bartenev. Participants have the opportunity to go along with the curator of the way to implement their projects, develop their creative potential through the practice of creating works within the framework of collective exhibitions.

Галерея объединяет начинающих и известных художников, работающих в разных стилях и жанрах (живопись, графика, скульптура, видео-арт, фотографии и инсталляции). Галерея позиционирует себя как стартовая площадка для молодых художников. Многие популярные ныне художники начинали свой путь с групповых и небольших проектов в галерее. Проекты будущего года направлены на развитие состоявшихся молодых художников, а также сделан акцент на групповых коллективных вставках, где будут осуществляться масштабные отборы молодых перспективных авторов, что является основной целью и задачей галереи. Галерея входит в состав Объединения «Выставочные залы Москвы».

S. Vysotsky and the era in which he lived. Today, the Centre-Museum includes the constant exposition, art gallery and theater and concert hall. The museum keeps documents, photographs, audio and video. The museum’s library is the most complete collection of V. Vysotsky’s works and materials about him.Tthere are performances of young groups of Moscow, in the gallery “Sam Brook” exhibitions of contemporary artists and thematic exhibitions of the museum are held on the theater stage. Getting there: metro station Taganskaya (ring), then 5 minutes by walk (according to signs located at the exit of the metro).

The Central Museum of Ancient Russian Culture and Art named after Andrey RublevThe central museum of ancient Russian culture and art named after Andrei Rublev is located within the walls of the ancient Spaso-Andronikov monastery. The museum was founded in 1947 as a specialized museum of ancient Russian art. It received the name of the greatest icon painter Andrei Rublev. The oldest in Moscow, the white-stone Cathedral of the Savior, made between 1410 and 1427, is located on the territory of the monastery. Spassky Cathedral painted by Andrei Rublev. The remains of the fresco remained inside the cathedral in the slopes of the altar windows. Andrei Rublev was a monk of the Savior-Andronikov monastery and was buried near the Savior Cathedral. The museum exposition is deployed in the complex of the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, built at the end of the 17th century by order of the first wife of Peter I, Evdokia Lopukhina. Periodic exhibitions devoted to the church art of different eras are held in the Priorysky Corps of the monastery. The museum acquaints visitors with outstanding examples of artistic creativity of the XI-XVII centuries. The icon collection of the museum is internationally renowned and includes many outstanding works. Among them are the masterpieces of the artists of the circle of Andrei Rublev and Dionysius, the workshop of Metropolitan Macarius and Tsar Ivan the Terrible. The art of the 17th century, the work of icon painters of the Armory and regional masters is especially fully represented.
