A.N. Tolstoy Museum-ApartmentThe memorial museum-apartment of A.N. Tolstoy was opened on October 20, 1987. The oldest employees of the GLM, E. E. Miropolskaya and E. D. Mikhailova, took part in the creation of the exposition. The building, which houses the memorial museum-apartment of A. Tolstoy, is included in the complex of the Ryabushinskys' manor, built by the architect O. F. Shekhtel in 1901-1903. According to the design of the architect, the wing, the closing courtyard, was intended for household needs. On the first floor there was a laundry room and a janitor’s, on the second - rooms for the Ryabushinsky servants. In the years when Gorky lived in the mansion, the editorial offices of the journals “On the Construction Sites of the USSR”, “Our Achievements” and the publishing house “History of Factories and Plants” were located in the wing. From August 1941 to the last days of his life the writer Alexey Nikolaevich Tolstoy and his wife Lyudmila Ilyinichna Tolstaya lived in this house. The exposition of the museum-apartment was created on the basis of the memorial collection of A. N. Tolstoy, transferred to the State Literary Museum after the death of the writer's widow L. Tolstoy. The collection of A. N. Tolstoy is one of the most valuable in the collection of the State Literary Museum. A part of this collection is presented in the exposition, a part is in the GLM funds and is the basis for numerous exhibition projects. The collection includes a collection of Russian and Western European painting of the 16th-20th centuries, objects of decorative and applied arts (porcelain, bone, metal, lighting equipment, etc.), furniture made by Russian and Western European masters. A significant part of the collection is the library of the writer, which includes the rarest editions of the time of Peter the Great, books from the Masonic library of the writer's ancestors - Turgenevs, rare lifetime foreign editions of the writer.

A. P. Chekhov House-MuseumChekhov room was opened at the library of the Rumyantsev Museum on April 25, 1912. This small exposition became the first Moscow Museum of Chekhov. This small exhibition was the first Moscow Chekhov Museum. For decades, scientific and exhibition work was carried out, the collection was replenished, but there was no separate museum room in Moscow. In 1934, part of the collection was transferred to the funds of the State Museum of the History of Russian Literature named after V. I. Dahl (State Literary Museum). By its size and importance, the V.I. Dahl Museum GMIRLI collection takes the second place in the world after the collection of the AP Chekhov House-Museum in Yalta. Since 1954, the department of the GMIRLI named after V. I. Dahl on Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya began to bear the name "House-Museum of A.P. Chekhov".

Anton Pavlovich Chekhov lived for 4 years in this house, from August 27, 1886 until his departure to Sakhalin. The writer not only created his famous works (more than 100 stories, plays “Ivanov”, “Leshy” and others), but every day from 12:00 to 15:00 accepted patients within the walls of this house. Often in Chekhov' house there were also guests – the famous writers, artists, musicians and actors. Visitors of the museum can see the original objects belonging to the writer and his family: furniture, including desk, rare pictures, playbills, lifetime editions of Chekhov. The situation of the house was carefully restored according to drawings and memoirs of the brother and writer's sister.
The museum holds literary evenings, meetings with writers, concerts of classical music, scientific meetings, performances of the museum’s “Theater of Chekhov's Comedy”, interactive classes for children, lectures and excursions for visitors of different age groups. https://www.facebook.com/literaturemuseum

AZ MuseumThe AZ Museum is a museum of Russian artist Anatoly Zverev (1931–1986). Anatoly Zverev was and remains one of the most significant figures in the artistic life of Moscow in the second half of the twentieth century. The AZ Museum was founded by collector and patron of the arts Natalia Opaleva and art curator Polina Lobachevskaya in 2013. The Museum building on the 2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street was opened in May 2015. The basis of the collection of the Museum AZ was the personal collection of Natalia Opaleva. In 2013, the daughter of the famous collector George Kostaki, Aliki Kostaki, presented the museum with more than 700 works by Zverev, archival materials and artifacts from the collection of her father. Today, the museum has more than 1,500 works by Anatoly Zverev and over 500 works by artists of his circle - nonconformists (Plavinsky, Nemukhin, Rabin, Krasnopevtsev, Tselkov and many others). Simultaneously with the foundation of the museum, a large publishing program was developed. Books and albums with works by Anatoly Zverev were published - “100 self portraits”, “Zverev. Love”, “Anatoly Zverev's Gogoliad”, “Anatoly Zverev Draws Andersen's Fairy Tales”, “Golden Ass”, “Apulea in Illustrations by A. Zverev” (publishing group: publisher - Natalia Opaleva, author of publishing project - Polina Lobachevskaya, compiler - Natalia Volkova , editor and author of articles - Sergey Solovyov). The small space of the museum does not allow to present the entire collection at the same time. Therefore, the AZ Museum offers a consistent story about different periods and directions in the works of Anatoly Zverev. Exhibitions follow each other, turning into a kind of “iso-series”. Each new exhibition is recorded in the film and becomes a film document - a film about the life of the AZ Museum. Multimedia screens play an important role in the concept of exhibition space. They expand the real space of each of the floors and allow you to see the works of Zverev in new perspectives.

Museum of military uniformsIn February 2017, a new museum of the Russian military-historical society - the Museum of Military Uniform, was opened in the building of the Turgenev-Botkin estate. The first exhibition “Saved relics” introduces visitors to selected samples of Russian military uniforms of the 18th – 19th centuries. The exhibition became a memorial - it is the memory of those killed in the area of Sochi on December 25, 2016, about Anton Nikolaevich Gubankov - director of the Department of Culture of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. He supported the idea of transferring objects from the museum’s storerooms to the Russian Military Historical Society for their restoration and display in the RVIO military uniform museum. Among them are real relics - priceless items of military uniforms from the Imperial quartermaster's museum. It received items of military uniforms not only of the Russian army, but also of foreign ones. The life of the museum ceased after the events of 1917: the exhibits were put in boxes and sent for storage in the Peter and Paul Fortress. In 1932, the wanderings of an invaluable collection began: a part was transferred to the artillery historical museum, a part went to costume theaters. The restoration of the priceless collection began in 2016, with the direct participation of RWIO. A year after the start of restoration work, after a hundred years of oblivion, visitors can see amazing exhibits. All subjects tell of the feat of the warriors who wore this uniform and were proud of it.
