Institute of Russian Realist Art

The Institute of Russian Realistic Art (IRRI) is a private project reviving the social traditions of Russian philanthropy. The Museum and Exhibition Complex IRRI opened in December 2011 in one of the old buildings of the former print factory built in Zamoskvorechye at the end of the 19th century. The art collection of IRRI today is considered to be one of the best collections of paintings of the national realistic school of the 20th century. Three floors of the exhibition space with a total area of more than 4,500 square meters present to the audience an exposition of almost 500 works of Russian and Soviet art.
