Mousion Children’s Educational Center

The department provides aesthetic education of children and youth, taking into account the age psychology, cultural needs of modern society based on the museum's collections. Classes are held in expositional halls of all buildings of the museum, as well as studios, workshops and auditoriums of the Center for Aesthetic Education. Work of the department is based on the principle of the development of the existing forms of the museum-pedagogical system established in the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, in combination with new artistic and educational programs. Studio and classroom classes are conducted with the active use of new audiovisual tools and Internet capabilities. In the "Museyon" the students of the museum demonstrate their creative successes at exhibitions of children's drawings, musical evenings, musical compositions that complete each year of classes.

Информация о музее

Отдел осуществляет эстетическое воспитание детей и юношества с учетом возрастной психологии, культурных запросов современного общества на основе коллекций музея.

Занятия проводятся в экспозиционных залах всех зданий музея, а также в студиях, мастерских, аудиториях Центра эстетического воспитания.

Работа отдела строится по принципу развития существующих форм музейно-педагогической системы, сложившихся в ГМИИ им. А. С. Пушкина, в сочетании с новыми художественно-образовательными программами.

Студийные и аудиторные занятия проводятся с активным использованием новых аудиовизуальных средств и возможностей Интернета.

В «Мусейоне» воспитанники музея демонстрируют свои творческие удачи на выставках детского рисунка, на музыкальных вечерах, в музыкально-литературных композициях, завершающих каждый год занятий.

The beginning of the museum was laid in the mid-nineties of the XIX century by a private collection of the famous Moscow industrialist and philanthropist Alexei Alexandrovich Bakhrushin. Today, the museum has more than one and a half million exhibits: sketches of costumes and scenery by outstanding masters of set design, photographs and portraits, stage costumes of great actors, programs and playbills of plays, rare publications on theatrical art, objects of decorative and applied art and much more. Theatrical collection has become one of the most valuable museum collections in modern Russia, it presents works by Bakst, Golovin, Kustodiev, Dobuzhinsky, Korovin, Yuon, Roerich, Tatlin, Exter, Rodchenko, Popova and other eminent masters. A variety of exhibitions are held in the main building of the museum and its many branches. The Bakhrushin Museum is always open for theater lovers. In addition to a detailed excursion program, interesting for both children and adults, the museum organizes lectures on the history of the theater using unique stock materials, meetings with famous artists, and creative evenings.

The Moscow museum of archeologyThe Moscow museum of archeology, located in an underground pavilion on the depth of 7 meters in the historical centre of the city, directly on the place of large archeological excavations of the 1993-1996th, gives a view of the medieval capital, history of development of the territory of modern Manezh Square, contains overview about methodology of archeological research. The museum acquaint with material culture of Moscow and the Moscow region from the Paleolithic to the 19th century. The exposition is based on the foundations of the Voskresenskiy Bridge of the 17-18th centuries, which connected two banks of the Neglinnaya River in the past, that were discovered during the excavations.
